Your wall will be fully plastered by your install team and ready to paint but they do not paint it as most people like to do this themselves. We will only paint if you have requested our textured paint style which requires experience to get right.

As of now, we have 400+ fires and 60+ mediawalls on live display in our showroom. This number can change month to month as we’re continuously producing more, replacing displays with new and updating existing displays. If you need to know if we have something specific on display please give us a call.

A heating system such as a mediawall electric heater does not replace your existing home heating. They are designed as supplementary heaters only and using them for long periods may lead to damage. All electric heaters have a max of 2kw heat output, which is not enough to heat a home. Of course, the light settings and flame effects can be used for a for a much longer time, we recommend you switch them off at night just to save energy.

Pricing for a fitted mediawall is bespoke for almost every build. We cannot answer such an open-ended question with a specific price without additional details. You can find a typical indicator of pricing on our deals page where we display some predesigned builds. For specific pricing, we highly recommend you visit our showroom to browse hundreds of displays and take inspiration from our mediawalls. Once you have discovered the best product for you, we can then give pricing on a mediawall built custom for you. From our showroom, we can also book surveys if needed.

Yes, we can give details of experienced installers who have done so before. A media wall is more than just the fireplace, although the fire is an impressive feature. Please contact us to discuss the details.

When designing your media wall, think carefully about which electronics you use. We design our walls to hide all of the clutter in cupboards and other hidden areas. And of course, we can leave some extra room for additional equipment and always design for ease of access.

We do not provide or install carpets. If the carpet has to be pulled back or cut to install your fireplace or media wall, your carpet fitter will need to reinstall. You should be notified of this after your initial survey.

We have facilitated the installation of over 3,000 mediawalls and fires. We refer many of our customers to local, experienced teams of installers who do this every day and are well-versed in both standard and bespoke jobs. We can even handle all of the bookings for you to ensure minimal distruption.

Your warranty period can vary depending on the brand of the product and the individual product itself. Most warranties are held with the manufacturer and not Washington Fireplaces. All items come with a standard 12-month warranty but many products offer extended 2-year warranties, or 10-year warranties with conditions such as proof of a yearly service. Some extended warranties after some time may only cover the cost of parts and not installation. We will provide you with warranty terms in our showroom for a specific product. All products that are manufactured by Washington Fireplaces come with a standard 12 months parts warranty.

Yes, there is a small separate charge for rubbish removal. Most companies build it into the order price but we make it an optional charge because some people may already have a skip on-site when renovating and we don’t want to charge for something that’s not needed. The price depends on the amount that needs to be removed and if any special requirements are needed for correct, safe disposal. This will be discussed with you during the planning phase.

Yes, our Mediawalls are designed to accommodate a wide range of TV sizes and media equipment. We work closely with you to ensure that all your media components are properly integrated and accessible. It’s a general rule of thumb that the fireplace should be 6-8 inches wider than the width of your TV. (remember that the TV is generally measured in inches at its diameter, so the width may vary from model to model)

A Mediawall is a custom-built entertainment unit that integrates a state-of-the-art media center with a stylish fireplace. It’s designed to be a focal point in your living space, combining functionality and elegance to enhance your home entertainment experience. A media wall without the TV is generally just a feature wall. We also design and facilitate the install of feature walls as long as they have a fireplace included.
