Warranty Coverage
Washington Fireplaces offers a limited warranty for Lumiere electric fireplaces, valid for 12 months from the date of original purchase, when bought from authorized dealers. This warranty exclusively covers replacement parts for defects/breakdowns in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Manufacturer’s Guarantee
We include a 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee with all our Lumiere electric fireplaces. This guarantee applies to the electric fire mechanism for parts replacement only.
Limitations
– The warranty does not cover any costs associated with the removal or installation of parts.
-Repaired or replaced parts under warranty do not extend the original warranty period but will be covered for the remainder of the original term.
-Any replaced parts or products become the property of Washington Fireplaces.
-We do not cover any third-party costs unless the repair work was authorized by Washington Fireplaces in advance.
Non-Coverage
The following conditions are not covered by the warranty:
-Damage from external causes such as natural disasters or water damage etc.
-Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
-Normal wear and tear items (consumables), including but not limited to, bulbs, ceramic logs, and remote controls.
-Installation and removal costs.
Exclusions
-Showroom display models are excluded from this warranty and are offered ‘as is’ at a discounted price.
-The warranty only applies to replacement parts and does not cover labour or service costs.
-Any damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or neglect is not covered by this warranty. Washington Fireplaces reserves the right to reject any warranty claims that are found to be outside the scope of normal use. We may be able to assist in the procurement of replacement parts at a retail price.
Liability
Washington Fireplaces’ liability is limited to the provision of replacement parts as per the terms of this warranty. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Warranty Service Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, you must contact the retailer from whom you purchased the Lumiere electric fireplace. They are responsible for managing your claim. If you purchased directly from Washington Fireplaces, please contact us at sales@washingtonfireplaces.co.uk with your proof of purchase and a detailed account of the issue.

This warranty is valid for Lumiere electric fires sold from January 2024 until the current date.
