WHAT IS AN INGLENOOK?

inglenook_explained

An inglenook is a small recess opening in a fire surround. Inglenooks originated as a partially enclosed hearth area appended to a larger room, which became a natural place for people seeking warmth. With changes in building design and central heating traditional inglenooks began to disappear. The contemporary inglenooks we offer are ideal for a modern living environment; a neat well proportioned chamber to accommodate a stove, burner or fire of your choice.

There are up to four steps when designing your personalised inglenook surround.

1: Chose a surround of your choice from our extensive range, if required. Alternatively, choose a wood or cast Beam.

2: Chose a chamber from our range (see section below).

3: Chose a stove or Burner of your choice.

4: Chose a hearth and Back Hearth material of your choice, Marble, Granite, Limestone or Honed Granite.

If you require any help or pricing on selecting your desired inglenook combination, please do not hesitate in contacting us via phone, email or drop into or showroom, professional advice is always available. We are here to help you.
